We
arrived at the McCoy Equestrian Center on Friday, April 22nd to crashing
thunder and lightening and the skies opened up to a deluge of rain! It
gave us a pause to wonder what would happen on the day of the Show, the next
day, April 23rd and the first day of halter!
The "gods" where kind to us, as Saturday dawned with ethereal clouds, some
sun and no rain! Our 116 llamas and their owners came to a truly
incredible playground for what turned out to be a grand Show! Camping was
available at the site and llama owners who wanted to go home after halter
had the freedom to do so!
We experienced an awesome number of events entered and the Judge Judie Moser
held forth with great aplomb! The Llama Association of Southern
California was delighted to see a huge increase in youth participants.
They are our future!
We held forth with 250 events entered and all was accomplished without
raincoats!
Please come and join us next year for the fourth year of April Magic!
